Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: 8 August 2026

1. Overview

InnRoot provides a standard cancellation policy for bookings made through the InnRoot platform.

Unless a different cancellation condition is specifically displayed and agreed to at the time of booking, the cancellation rules described in this policy apply to InnRoot bookings.

2. Free Cancellation

Customers may cancel a confirmed booking and receive a 100% refund if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time.

Free Cancellation Deadline

Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time.

Eligible cancellation: 100% refund

3. Cancellation Within 24 Hours

If a customer cancels a booking less than 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time, the booking will generally be non-refundable.

This means that the customer may not be entitled to receive a refund for a cancellation made within the 24-hour period before check-in.

4. Cancellation After Check-In

Cancellations made after the scheduled check-in time are generally non-refundable.

If a customer does not arrive at the property without cancelling the booking within the applicable cancellation period, the booking may be treated as a no-show and may not be eligible for a refund.

5. How to Cancel a Booking

Customers should cancel bookings through the available cancellation option in their InnRoot account or through the official InnRoot support channel.

A cancellation is considered successful only when InnRoot confirms the cancellation.

Customers should keep their cancellation confirmation for their records.

6. Refund Eligibility

When a customer cancels an eligible prepaid booking at least 24 hours before check-in, InnRoot will process a refund for the eligible booking amount.

The final refund amount may depend on the amount actually paid and any applicable charges that cannot legally or technically be reversed.

Where the full booking amount is eligible for cancellation, InnRoot will provide a full refund of the eligible amount.

7. Refund Processing Time

Once InnRoot approves an eligible refund, the refund will be initiated through the applicable payment method or payment service provider.

The time required for the refund to appear in the customer's account may depend on the customer's bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment service provider.

InnRoot is not responsible for delays caused solely by banks, card networks, payment providers, or other financial intermediaries.

8. Pay-at-Hotel Bookings

For bookings where payment is made directly at the hotel, no prepaid amount may be available for InnRoot to refund.

Customers must still follow the applicable InnRoot cancellation requirements to avoid a no-show or other applicable consequences.

9. Cancellation by InnRoot

In exceptional circumstances, InnRoot may need to cancel a booking due to circumstances such as:

  • Hotel unavailability
  • Inventory errors
  • Property closure
  • Payment or security issues
  • Fraud or unauthorized activity
  • Technical or operational issues
  • Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

Where InnRoot cancels a prepaid booking and a refund is applicable, InnRoot will process the eligible refund through the applicable payment method.

10. Exceptional Circumstances

InnRoot may, at its discretion, review cancellation and refund requests involving exceptional circumstances.

Examples may include serious emergencies, major disruptions, or circumstances that make the original booking impossible to fulfil.

Supporting documentation may be requested where appropriate.

11. Booking Changes

Requests to change a booking, including dates, room type, guest count, or other booking details, may be subject to availability and applicable charges.

If a booking cannot be modified, the customer may need to cancel the existing booking and make a new reservation subject to this Cancellation Policy.

12. No-Show

If a customer does not arrive at the hotel and has not cancelled the booking within the applicable cancellation period, the booking may be treated as a no-show.

No-show bookings are generally non-refundable.
